Concert

Razz Ma Tazz

Dazzling the audience with oldies, showtunes and pop songs, The Singaholics put up an amazing performance of fun dancing and sang their hearts out with the equally amazing collaborating choir Gaudeamus and SEGI College Orchestra and Band. Bringing to an audience of musical enjoyment throughout the ages: The Lady is A Tramp from 1937 musical “Babes in Arms”, a sexy samba number Mas Que Nada by Jorge Ben Jor and Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sheeran. What an experience!

Chapter 3: 0 Degree Celcius

Brrrrrrrrrr. It sure is starting to feel like Christmas! Led by conductor Mr Chong Wai Lun, The Singaholics worked hard to bring out only the best carols and winter-themed songs to celebrate the Christmas spirit and let the audience to experience winter’s embrace.

Taking on challenging madrigals and classicals in different languages, they did not disappoint by bringing the audience through all seasons and ending in winter in April Is In My Mistress’ Face (Thomas Morley, 1594), reenacting the twittering of a couple in love- Io Mi Son Giovinetta (Claudio Monteverdi, 1993) and a powerful yet bone-chilling Silent Night.

*psst* Our favourite song from the concert was Glow- Eric Whitacre. Watch us perform it here!

“A World To Imagine: A Concert By Youth For Youth”
– a ChildAid Asia event

We were extremely honoured to be invited to perform for ChildAid Asia to raise funds for disadvantaged youths and children.

We are so grateful we got to share a stage with so many local and international talents. Even though our role was only in performing, we’re happy to have been able to be part of this effort that raised RM71,000 for the National Cancer Society of Malaysia (NCSM) and ChildAid Asia Kuala Lumpur.

We are definitely looking out for future opportunities to impact our local communities on a much larger scale!

You know it’s going to be a lively concert when you have THREE youth choirs coming together to perform their favourite classic hits! Together with the Melodious Singers from the Catholic High School choir club, and Univoix fom Sam Tet Boys’ School, the Singaholics lit up the audience’s world like nobody else (yes we liked 1D), Let It Be by iconic Englich rock band Beatles, Billy Joel’s Just The Way You Are and even Elton John’s Electricity. And the best part? Our tickets sold out completely 😉

Chapter 1: Something About

The excitement of hosting the first ever concert is unforgettable! Eager to show off all their years of learning and hard work, The Singaholics and Melodious Singers of Catholic High School threw in jazzy-pop tunes like When I Fall In Love, Tea For Two, and It’s De-Lovely for a night of romance and nostalgia. The audiences were also brought back into the Wizarding World of Oz through a magical Over The Rainbow and then to Michael Jackson’s stage with Man In The Mirror.

Packed with a whole journey of excitement and adventure, they travelled through different genres and themes complete with a live band. It was truly a show they could be proud to call their first!

They busted out some pretty classy & elegant moves too! Check it out here!
